3" Handmade in Peru. Each Ocarina comes shrink wrapped on an informational story card which has instructions on how to play "Happy Birthday".
Story: Ocarinas are small, simple wind instruments, usually made out of terracotta. They must be turned while the clay is still wet. Ocarinas have four to thirteen and a mouth piece. They come in different sizes and shapes, many of which represented various deities, birds and animals. Descending from the ritual clay whistles of Pre-Colombian South America, the Ocarina was called a “peasant whistle” by some because it was cheap to make and was made to hang around the neck so it was always ready to use.
Items are individually handcrafted so sizes and colors may vary slightly from picture shown.
