Story: Celebrated in Central and South America mainly amongst the peoples of Mexico, (where it is the most important holiday
of the year) Ecuador and Guatemala, Day of the Dead is a yearly celebration dedicated to remembering the dead relatives in ones family. One of the most interesting aspects of the holiday is
the symbol of the skull and skeleton, representing the permanence
of the reality of the person who has died. This is done with great
love and respect for the loved one and ancestor.
