Handmade in South Africa by Women of the Ndebele tribe.

Sangoma 7.5" - Known as the "spiritual healer", the Sangoma is adorned with glass bead detailing, rasta hair and a colorful dress with full bead detail at the top. The brass rings around the neck symbolize wealth and status. Only married women are allowed to wear the rings called "dzilla". Each doll comes with an informational story tag. Dolls come in assorted bright colors and bead detail.

Story of the Sangoma: Among the Nguni people, the Sangoma is an important specialist, a diviner who claims contact with the ancestral spirits. The Sangoma is referred to as the protector of society and her opinion and judgement is highly valued.

Color: Each doll is unique with its own color combination.
